It's Monday, so it's time for some additional news assignments. You'll find that many of Europe's current problems are connected to what we studied in the Middle East. One of the big problems is refugees fleeing the Middle East. I'd like you to read the following two articles in order because one helps set up the other so that they'll make sense.

Remember to keep working on all your other assignments as well. You need to post to the blog for this week and then again for next week! Keep up with your CNN Student News because Carl Azuz is going to be really annoying if you have to listen to him for two hours straight to catch up. ;) And do not fall behind on North and South because it's a hard one to catch up on. I know my tendency when we don't have class is to take about a week and a half off of the homework and then cram the last two days before class. Do yourself a favor and don't follow my example.
