Religious freedom is vital to who you are as a person. If you can't
believe what you want or show your beliefs to others, you would never be
able to convince anyone, or even tell anyone, about anything you think! Religious freedom is the right to believe what you want and to show and tell about it.
If you didn't have the freedom of religion you would have to conform to some leader's beliefs and if you tried to believe any thing else, then you would be punished and could be killed for trying to be free.
As a result, without freedom of religion your life would be miserable and probably short. So you should always be respectful to all people (who deserve it by not killing people) whether you agree with them or not.

ReplyDeleteWhat if it wasn't as extreme as being killed for your religion? What if it was just that everyone who wasn't a part of the state religion didn't get the same tax deductible as those who did? This way your just encouraging them to join the state religion.
