In a lot of african countries homosexuality is illegal. Recently in Tanzania three men were ordered to be arrested for promoting homosexuality, specifically on social media.
Even though I do believe that living a homosexual lifestyle is wrong, treating people this way is even wronger (I know, it's more wrong). This is one of those interesting conflicts because we want to allow for religious freedom, but Islam is not a religion of freedom in many countries.
