We will be transitioning from talking about Syria to talking about the conflict in Israel. I've attempted to find a couple of articles that describe that conflict without taking sides too much. It's a hard balance, so we'll definitely be discussing both sides of this issue in class, but I wanted you to have a little bit of background.
