21-year-old Melanie Segard achieved her dream of becoming a weather presenter. Due to her Down's Syndrome, she cannot read or write, but that didn't stop her. On March 14 she presented a segment of the weather on French National television.
The movement "Melanie peur le faire" or "Melanie can do it" was started by a charity to promote awareness and inclusion.

I love this. In some European countries, almost all babies who are diagnosed with Downs while in utero are being aborted. People like Melanie are important because they help show that people with disabilities still have great value.
