Current leaders of the South Korean presidential election that will take place May 9th are democratic Moon Jae-in and a member of the more middle-of-the-road party, the Peoples' Party Ahn Cheol-soo. Particularly Moon Jae-in has shown favor of dampening US relations, which may ruin Trump's plans with North Korea.
