After the national school walkout on March 14th, many schools are making students who participated go to detention for hours. Some are making their students do Saturday detention. Other schools are suspending their students for up to a week. Students are ticked.

DeleteMy favorite is that a friend of ours (who shall remain nameless, but I'm sure Avonlea knows who he is) posted this thing on FB about how the students were protesting with permission and even encouragement from the schools, so the government (schools) is helping them protest to give the government more power. Hmmm...obviously not the case at some schools.
