Massachusetts high court to take up suicide texting appeal

There's going to be a trial on whether or not a girl is guilty of man-slaughter for encouraging her boyfriend to commit suicide. link

    This reminds me of that one Dairy Queen boss who got charged with manslaughter or something after bullying a teen to the point of suicide. Do you think that it is appropriate for people to be charged with manslaughter in these cases?

      I think there should probably be a lesser punishment in cases like this, because it is different than most man-slaughter cases but we should treat it seriously.

    These are tough cases--the line between free speech and speech that encourages violent action is so difficult.

      Yeah it is pretty difficult. I think in the end though you are causing problems in society that are serious enough to address with punishment.
