Automated golf carts have been introduced in Wajima, a city in western Japan, to transport their elderly in the effort to reduce traffic accidents. This is a continuation of what I posted about last week, the struggle of discouraging Japanese elderly drivers from endangering their roads.

This seems like a good idea. Excellent that it's implemented at the city level for a city that especially needs it rather than at the federal level no matter where it's needed.
